Overview
The EFL Education Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Jember, Indonesia. The journal provides an academic platform for disseminating research findings, theoretical discussions, and pedagogical innovations in the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education. It serves lecturers, researchers, teachers, and education practitioners both within and beyond the University of Jember who are engaged in advancing English language teaching and learning across various educational contexts. The journal is published three times annually in March, July, and November.
Scope
The journal publishes articles covering a wide range of topics related to EFL education, including but not limited to:
English language teaching and learning practices across educational levels and contexts;
EFL teacher education and professional development;
Curriculum design, materials development, and instructional innovation;
Language assessment and evaluation;
Classroom discourse and pedagogical practices;
Technology integration and digital learning in EFL classrooms;
Critical and applied linguistics perspectives in language education;
Literacy development, multilingual education, and global Englishes;
Classroom action research and other empirical studies relevant to language education.
Both empirical research and conceptual or critical discussions that contribute to the development of EFL education are welcomed.
Indexing and Accreditation
The journal is indexed in major academic databases such as Google Scholar, GARUDA, and Crossref, and continues to strengthen its academic visibility and indexing status at national and international levels.
Publication Policy
The EFL Education Journal implements an open-access policy, allowing readers worldwide to freely access published articles to support knowledge dissemination and academic collaboration. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. In addition, all submissions are screened for plagiarism using similarity-checking software, with a maximum similarity threshold of 25% to maintain publication ethics and integrity.

The journal is intended for lecturers, researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, teachers, and education practitioners interested in English language education and related areas, both nationally and internationally.
